ABOUT THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF COUNSELORS
The American College of Counselors, established in 1976, promotes collegial learning and professional development for Counseling and related Human Services. Chartered in 1984, as a national certifying body for counselors, ACC specifies Clinical Membership as our entry level. We offer opportunity for advanced recognition through designation of Fellow and Diplomat. In 1993 ACC subsumed the former National Academy of Counselors and Family Therapists. ACC has since included international members. ACC is recognized as a provider of Continuing Education Units by the Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
Publications: ACC COURIER (newsletter), and CON-TEXT, Journal of the ACC.

IGI Conference Faculty
- Charlie Bowman, LCSW, LMFT is Co-President of IGI and Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. He has published research defining Gestalt therapy and about various applications of Gestalt therapy and training. He is interested in Gestalt community formation and the development of Relational Gestalt Therapy.
- Steve Roberts, LCSW, LMFT is interested in further developing Relational Gestalt Therapy and trains psychotherapists nationally and internationally. He is Co President of IGI and Director of The Foresight Group, an Indianapolis psychotherapy consortium.

- Richard Erskine, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Indiana and is well known for his work or the central role of the client/therapist relationship in psychotherapy. Dr. Erskine has authored numerous articles and three books developing the theory and method of Integrative Psychotherapy. He serves on the faculty of numerous academic and post-graduate training institutions world-wide, including the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute. His most recent book, Beyond Empathy (Brunner/Mazel, 1999) outlines the psychotherapy method of contact.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board has approved this organization to provide Category I continuing education for L.S.W., L.C.S.W., L.M.F.T., and L.M.H.C., however licensees must judge the programs relevance to their professional practice.
